Students celebrated 33 years of Natural Heritage of Humanity

With a parade happen to be at the main street of the island Santa Cruz, recalled the educational institutions that date.




The National Park executed the II Festival of Galapaguenian Dance

This activity is executed as part of the celebration to the declaration 33 years of Natural Heritage of Humanity.




This Saturday Galapagos clean coasts

The Galapagos National Park Service, is coordinating the activity in the islands.




Giant turtles Census at Sierra Negra volcano

The objective is to determine the population status of the turtles at this volcano.




Successfully completed in Galapagos Coastal Cleanup

Did not report anything strangeness. Floreana Island was the first time to joined this activity.




In the Galapagos, the coasts are being cleaned

At present, approximately 700 people in the four inhabited islands are collecting trash from the coastal area.




Tomorrow starts lobster fishery in Galapagos

Participants must comply with regulations issued by the Galapagos National Park.




DPNG Implements new pens at the Breeding Center

The measure will allow the turtles to provide conditions similar to their natural habitat.




DPNG collect the eggs at the breeding center in San Cristobal

This is the third group of turtles to be born in artificial place at the breeding center.




Control of introduced animals in San Cristobal

The measure seeks to keep visiting sites on the island without the presence of rodents and cats that damage the fauna.
