DGNP and CDF will started studying pelicans

The objective is to determine the health status and phylogeny of the species native to the Galapagos.




The DGNP implemented organizational restructuring proccess

The objective at strengthening the technical capacities of the institution and deconcentrate processes.


Studies reveal the existence of extinct turtle hybrids

The species giant tortoises of Floreana Island was considered extinct for over 150 years, but recent genetic studies show the existence of many hybrid individuals.
